Building Lapstrake Canoes, 2nd Edition...Lapstrake canoes are the same now as they were when this book was first written back in 1981, but the materials available to us have changed. Some of the old favorites, like Interlux 279 are gone, and glued lapstrake construction is becoming increasingly popular. Never fear, this book will still guide you through traditional construction, because the new info has been added to what was already in the original book.
We're reworking and adding more illustrations now, and are even considering including a CD of actual construction photos. Published February '03.
